The Noisy Paint Box

1st graders have been learning about abstract art and for this project they learned about abstract artist Kandinsky. Kandinsky is an artist who was inspired by music, so for this project students started with a line that they created by listening to "Four Seasons" by Vivaldi. When the music would change the students would change their line to match the music. After they created their initial line to start the artwork they then used crayons and watercolor paints to fill in the new shapes that were created!
