Our Y5 artists created animal masks out of shapes! This lesson was inspired by the author Lois Ehlert who wrote the book "Color Zoo". The Y5 students have been learning about this author in their library special and reading other stories by her! This lesson had the students think creatively with shapes to create an animal face!

Let's Build a House- Inspired by Mary Blair
Students created unique houses inspired by Disney artist Mary Blair. Mary Blair designed the ride It' A Small World and she is well known for her vibrant use of colors.
